We're delighted to have retained our Gold rating from EcoVadis, the international platform which evaluates companies on their environmental performance and corporate social responsibility. 

Following the latest EcoVadis assessment, the Whistl Group has been awarded a Gold rating, maintaining our position within the top 5% of companies assessed.

Six Years of EcoVadis Recognition, Three Years of Gold

This is the sixth consecutive year the Whistl Group has received an EcoVadis rating, and the third year it has achieved Gold status. 

What is EcoVadis?

EcoVadis is an international organisation which evaluates businesses on their environmental performance and corporate social responsibility. It is an online evaluation tool that enables procurement professionals to compare suppliers and make decisions based on sustainability, environmental, social, and ethical factors. EcoVadis also provides access to real-time change and improvements.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings for more than 150,000+ companies. The rating methodology is built on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000.

Medals are awarded to the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis, with the following categorisation:

• Platinum - Top 1% (99+ percentile)
• Gold - Top 5% (95+ percentile)
• Silver - Top 15% (85+ percentile)
• Bronze - Top 35% (65+ percentile)

Their award is based on a company's percentile rank, calculated at the time of scorecard publication. It compares a company's performance with all rated companies in the EcoVadis database over the previous 12 months. The percentile rank is calculated across all companies, not per industry.
