    Nick Wells

    CEO

    Nick, 57, is CEO of Whistl (formerly TNT Post UK). He sold his direct marketing business to TNT/PostNL in 2001 but continued to grow the business organically as a result of the liberalisation of the postal market to revenues in excess of £600 million over the next 10 years. In 2015, Nick led the management buyout of Whistl from its then Dutch parent company PostNL (management now own 82.5%, and PostNL 17.5%).

    From entrepreneur to corporate executive and entrepreneur again Nick has gained valuable insight into how to be a success and grow businesses. Nick is also Executive Chairman of Lifecycle Marketing (publishers of Emma's Diary and Families) and is valued as a lead commentator on postal and direct marketing issues. Married with 3 children in their 20's, he sometimes has time for golf, skiing and the odd glass of wine!

  • Nigel Polglass

    Nigel Polglass

    Chief Operating Officer

    Nigel graduated from Lancaster University with a Masters in Business Administration.

    His professional experience has been gained within market leading and multi-national companies; Ceridian Corporation, Hays Plc and The Royal Mail Group, where he has held senior management positions as Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Sales, Marketing and Commercial Directorships. He joined the company in 2008 as Managing Director of TNT Post London Ltd which he took from start-up to £55m sales in 3 years before vesting his shares early and joining the TNT Post UK Board as Group Commercial Director. In February 2013 Nigel was appointed as Chief Operating Officer. Nigel is married with two adult children.

  • Manoj Parmar

    Manoj Parmar

    Group Finance Director

    Manoj Parmar is Group Finance Director of Whistl.

    Manoj qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers and subsequently went on to senior, international finance and commercial positions with Cable & Wireless. Prior to his current role, he held similar positions in private equity backed companies. Manoj is married, has a daughter and enjoys swimming and going to the gym.

  • Andrew Goddard

    Andrew Goddard

    Commercial Director

    Andy is Commercial Director, looking after all key client interface within Whistl.

    He joined the company on secondment from Express Dairies where he was their Head of Home Delivery. Educated to degree level Andy graduated at the Institute of Direct Marketing and is Fellow of the IDM. Andy previously worked with Royal Mail as a Client Director, Head of Home Shopping and E-Commerce and also ran their Door to Door business unit back in the early 1990's. Whilst at Royal Mail he was also in the Royal Logistic Corps and achieved the rank of Lt Col before retiring in 2006.Married with 2 children his hobbies include property, running and the occasional round of golf.

    Lieneke Happel

    Managing Director (Prism DM)

    Lieneke is Managing Director of Prism DM

    Lieneke joined in 2004 as Head of Operational Development and since then has held several roles, most recently IT and Strategy Director, and is part of the senior management team.

    Following Whistl’s acquisition of Prism DM in August 2017, Lieneke's focus is to expand Whistl’s offering in the e-commerce fulfilment arena for our growing retail customer base.

    As a Dutch national she embraces the best of British country life as a keen horse rider, and enjoys good food and wine with her other half.

  • Mark Davies

    Mark Davies

    Managing Director (Doordrop Media)

    Mark is responsible for ensuring the growth of Whistl’s doordrop media business.

    Prior to becoming Managing Director of Doordrop Media, Mark occupied several key sales roles at the company, which he joined in 2003. Before this Mark spent 10 years seeing the world in the travel and leisure industry and has lived and worked in Santa Barbara, Boston, Amsterdam and Barcelona.

    Mark is President of ELMA (the European Letterbox Marketing Association), represents the company on the DMA Door Drop Committee and speaks regularly on the doordrop industry both in the UK and across Europe.

    Mark is married with two young children and lives in Oxfordshire. He still enjoys travelling, writing and squash.

  • Charles Neilson

    Charles Neilson

    Director of Postal Affairs

    Charles is the Director of Postal Affairs.

    Charles is responsible for developing Whistl's Corporate Strategy including our relationship with Royal Mail and the Legal and Regulatory environment in which our business operates.

    He brings vast media planning and data analytics knowledge to help develop and enhance our direct mail and doordrop media services. He joined the Whistl Executive Board formed following the MBO in 2015. He has worked for a variety of companies in the mail industry over the last 30 years.

    Charles lives in Kent with his wife Cally and has two grown up children. Charles spends his spare time playing tennis, going to the gym and has a taste for Spanish and Italian wines.

  • Lynn Dillon

    Lynn Dillon

    HR Director

    Lynn is the HR Director at Whistl.

    Lynn is responsible for leading the HR strategy to achieve success through our people and their development. She is passionate about creating a culture that strives for continuous improvement to help build strong, productive relationships with our customers. She joined the industry back in 1986 and has a wealth of knowledge and experience across the mail industry. Prior to this role she was the Operations Director within the Doordrop Media business area of Whistl for 11 years.

    Lynn enjoys travelling to exotic and undiscovered parts of the world and loves music and theatre.

  • Tiemen Van Bruggen

    Tiemen Van Bruggen

    Operations Director

    Tiemen is Operations Director at Whistl.

    Tiemen has a Masters degree in Econometrics & Operational Research and an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management. Tiemen joined Whistl in 2011 following 4 years working for PostNL as a strategic and operational consultant, gaining experience in both Germany and Italy. As Operations Director, he is responsible for delivering a high quality service in the most efficient way and meeting the needs of our customers.

    Tiemen is recently married, lives in London and loves to go out for a good meal with his better half. To keep fit he enjoys running and has run several marathons. His favourite routes are along the Thames and around Hyde Park.
