Communities
Our passion is to support local communities and charities through volunteering opportunities and fundraising activities.
Engagement with clients, employees, local communities, regulators, business partners, suppliers, and our shareholders all form part of our ESG strategy.
We are aligning to science-based targets and taking a pragmatic approach which is broken down into two stages. In the short term, we aim to reduce our carbon emissions by 21% by 2030, and in the long term, our ambition is to be net zero by 2045, all based on our 2022 baseline.
We are committed to use the SBTi’s Corporate Net Zero Standard framework to report on how we will achieve our goal.
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions reductions targets in line with the latest climate science. It is focused on accelerating companies across the world to halve emissions before 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions before 2050.

Our aim is to be a sustainable business, not only financially but also within the environment and communities in which we operate, and I am delighted that we are able to announce our ambition to achieve net zero by 2045. We believe in taking a science-based approach to this important issue and particularly in the logistics sector we are dependent on innovation and collaboration from our suppliers to enable us to reach this goal. We also look forward to developing new products and services for our customers that will enable them to reach their own carbon reduction targets
