Whistl appoint Fabiola Sharratt as Operations Director

Whistl, the leading delivery management company in the UK, has announced that Fabiola Sharratt is to join the company on 3 April as Operations Director and will sit on the Executive Board. Fabiola was Group Operations Director at the British e-commerce company, The HUT, which is Europe’s fastest growing health and beauty online retailer.

Fabiola began her logistics and transport career with the GUS Group, then joined the Caudwell Group in 2005.  In 2009 she moved to The Hut Group where she was instrumental in developing its logistics, distribution and warehouse capability across the UK, the US Australia and Europe.

In addition to outstanding operational experience, Fabiola’s strong people skills were proven when she designed the Hut Group’s employee engagement strategy helping to improve communications and performance within the company.

Whistl is the market leader in Downstream Access Mail (DSA) services, handling over 50% of bulk business mail in the UK.  It also is growing its Parcel and Doordrop Media services both in the UK and internationally and is investing in Fulfilment, starting with its acquisition of Prism DM in 2017.

The company has a depot network across the UK and opened its new super depot hub in Bolton last year on the Logistics North site, which has capacity to accommodate the company’s ambitious growth plans.
