Whistl Cross Border Solutions join BIFA and FIATA trade associations

Whistl Cross Border Solutions joined two industry-leading organisations to ensure that its customers’ voices are represented at national and international policy-making forums that affect their ability to trade internationally.

BIFA, The British International Freight Association, is the leading body representing the UK international freight services industry. It articulates its members' views in national and international governing bodies and institutions and by political representation. Although the UK is no longer an EU Member, BIFA is still an active member of CLECAT, which enables members' views to be heard by other European freight forwarder associations.

At a global level, BIFA’s membership in FIATA ensures that Members’ views are heard in all its institutions, including IATA.

FIATA, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations, is a non-governmental, membership-based organisation representing freight forwarders in 150 countries. It represents the interests of its members with the World Trade Organization, United Nations agencies and other international organisations, transport organisations, global partners and governments to promote and protect the interest of the industry.
