Whistl meets ISO 9001:2015 global quality standard

Whistl, the second largest postal operator in the UK, has announced that it has achieved the newly revised quality management system standard, ISO 9001:2015.

Approved by LRQA (Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Ltd), ISO 9001:2015 is a certified quality management system for organisations who want to consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of their customers and stakeholders.
 
Under the new certification standard, Whistl had to prove that: internal and external issues are understood, and demonstrate how these are aligned with Whistl’s strategic direction; that Senior
 
Management are directly responsible and accountable for the management system throughout the company; that it has adopted a more process-based approach; and risk mitigation strategies have been adopted.
