Whistl Doordrop Media passes annual validation as a JICMAIL Platinum partner

After the orginal accreditation as a JICMAIL Platinum partner in 2021, Whistl Doordrop Media has been reassessed and passed its validation as a Platinum partner for another year. 

All organisations are Accredited to JICMAIL and maintain that status through adherence to an Adoption Plan. Over and above this is Platinum status which is open for submissions twice a year and is only awarded to those organisations who are exemplary in their use, application and advocacy of JICMAIL data. 

Platinum Organisational Accreditation is awarded to businesses who have demonstrated a level of proficiency with JICMAIL beyond its primary application, which includes evidence of JICMAIL data being embedded into the advertiser, intermediary or agency L&D programs; evidence of JICMAIL data being embedded into the planning and/or reporting data ecosystem; and evidence that JICMAIL is being systematically used to retain or grow business. It requires proof of the organisation adhering to industry best practice standards concerning the levy, such as specifying the specific levy cost on plans/proposals or detailing the levy as a VAT exempt item on invoices with best practice process a critical criteria. 

Whistl maintained our Platinum status by achieving specific requirements and by supplying additional information to the core principles. 

JICMAIL have recently been shortlisted in the Mediatel Media Research Awards 2023 for Media Owner/Trade Body of the Year, which is testament to the growing respect and testament to the support given to the mailing industry since the launch back in 2018. The winner will be announced on the 2nd March, with other contenders for the top prize being Channel 4, JCDecaux and Thinkbox.
