We're thrilled to have won a Gold award in the Mail Performance category at The Strategic Mailing Partnership (SMP) Networking & Awards ceremony.

Data-Driven Door Drop Gets Tails Wagging

The Mail Performance award recognises campaigns that achieve outstanding results, demonstrate excellent return on investment, and meet or exceed client expectations.

Our Doordrop Media team's entry focussed on our collaboration with Tails.com, a subscription service disrupting the world of pet food.

Tails.com wanted to drive long-term subscriptions and chose Whistl as their door drop partner owing to our advanced targeting capabilities and robust data sets.

We implemented a test-versus-control matrix to ensure each creative had an equal opportunity for success. The testing revealed that the envelope format, commonly used by other subscription service brands, was the most effective (compared to the leaflet format).

The winning work was an attention-grabbing, tail-wagging campaign that delivered a +173% uplift, driving more orders, higher sales, and an increased Average Order Value (AOV).

Upon receiving the award, Susie Idle, Business Development Director, said: "This recognition is a testament to the creativity, collaboration, and results-driven approach our team brings to every campaign. Huge thanks to our incredible clients, agency partners, and colleagues who make this possible - your trust and innovation inspire us every day."
