Whistl Upgraded to Gold for Charitable Payroll Giving

The Whistl Group has received the Gold APGO Payroll Giving Quality Mark Award from Charities Trust for its commitment to Payroll Giving.

Whistl Upgrades to Gold

This latest recognition is an upgrade on its Silver Mark, which was previously awarded in 2024. 

Payroll Giving is one of the many commitments made by the Group as part of its wider Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives. 

The enhanced accolade has been awarded based on:

• The 75 Whistl employees currently registered for Payroll Giving, an increase of 10 employees based on previous figures. These employees currently donate a cumulative monthly total of £578.50 directly from their salaries to a charity of their choice via Hands on Payroll Giving.
• The internal promotion of Payroll Giving over the past year, through employee participation, hosting events, running digital promotions and other activities.  

What is the Payroll Giving Quality Mark?

The Payroll Giving Quality Mark is a government-supported accreditation which recognises and rewards organisations of all sizes for offering and promoting Payroll Giving to their employees. The Charities Trust exists to increase the flow of giving to the UK charity sector. Founded in 1987, the organisation is a not-for-profit processing partner for business and public sector charitable giving. 

The APGO Payroll Giving Quality Mark demonstrates Whistl’s commitment to Payroll Giving and corporate social responsibility. It also provides an opportunity for the business to celebrate its employees and the huge amount of support that its donations provide to countless good causes.
