Spark Response (now rebranded to Whistl as part of 2018 acquisition) were runners up at the prestigious North East Contact Centre Awards on 2nd February, in the Best Contact Centre Under 250 Seats Category.
The North East of England is home to hundreds of contact centres, both in house and outsourcers, large and small. Some of the biggest blue chips in the UK base their contact centres in our region. So to be nominated for an award at the North East Contact Centre awards, shows we are in excellent company.
Spark Response was nominated in the Best Contact Centre Under 250 Seats category. As it turned out, there were 90 other entrants in the running, such is the strength of the contact centre industry we operate in. Once the nominations for the finals were out, we knew we had some stiff competition. Our fellow finalists, shortlisted from the original 90 entrants, included:
- EC Outsourcing
- Firstsource Solutions Middlesbrough
- Customer Service Op – Northern Powergrid
- Tesco Banking Assist Team Newcastle
Spark were nominated for the awards due our success with some of the inbound customer service clients, which included Weight Watchers, Smiggle, Barchester Healthcare, and the PGA European Tour.
On the night, we were pleased to be announced as runners up, with Firstsource Solutions of Middlesbrough taking the prestigious winning title for the year.
