Whistl Staff Win at National Ops Day Awards
During our National Operations Day on Tuesday 8th March, Nigel Polglass and Tiemen van Bruggen announced several awards for outstanding performance in 2015.
Glasgow won the title Depot of the Year, in recognition of Glasgow’s superb cost efficiency, quality, real can-do attitude and a successful depot move. Stevie Lawson received the award on behalf of the team in Glasgow.
Lee Smith won the title Employee of the Year for demonstrating excellent leadership and introducing innovative designs. Lee was appointed as Depot Manager at Bristol only last year and has risen to the challenge of this new role in an outstanding manner.
Sarah Daker won the title of Supporter of the Year. Sarah (Transport Development Manager) is always adding value to the transport team in many ways. She is incredibly thorough and continuously goes the extra mile to deliver value to operations, all strategic projects she is involved in and all of her customers.
Ian Ball won the title of Newcomer of the Year. Ian (Project Manager in the Operations and Support department) delivers great support to the transport team.
