The 2025 report provides a comprehensive overview of the meaningful steps we've taken towards achieving net-zero by 2045, while continuing to create positive environmental and social impact across our Group business and the wider logistics sector.
Key Highlights from the 2025 ESG Report
- Achieved a 20.23% carbon reduction against our 2022 baseline.
- Procured 99.5% renewable energy.
- 99% of our car fleet is now electric or ultra-low emission.
- Maintained a ‘B’ rating for climate change from CDP.
- Achieved EcoVadis Gold accreditation, ranking Whistl among the world’s top 5% of companies assessed.
- Supported nine local charities across the UK, including employee volunteering initiatives.
- Continued progress across our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives.

Our approach and progress has been recognised by award bodies and peer organisations. This includes winning the Climate and Sustainability Award at the 2025 Thames Valley 250 ceremony, as well as landing the prize for B2B Sustainability at the Direct Commerce Awards for the second year in a row.
